About the Role

ChristianaCare is seeking an experienced MRI Imaging Specialist to join our team in Newark, Delaware. As a key member of our Imaging Department, you will be responsible for performing MRI procedures and providing exceptional patient care.

This is a part-time opportunity working midnight shift at our Newark Hospital location.

Job Responsibilities
  • Perform MRI procedures as defined by departmental protocols.
  • Accurately enter patient data into RIS, HIS, and Intergy computer systems.
  • Ensure high-quality images are transmitted to PACS system.
  • Obtain and document thorough patient histories.
  • Digitize films and perform quality control checks.
  • Provide superior customer service to patients, families, and healthcare teams.
  • Work safely, adhering to established safety rules and practices, and report any hazards or safety violations.
  • Demonstrate skills and knowledge necessary to provide care for neonatal, pediatric, adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients.
Requirements
  • Completion of ARRT registry required; MRI Registry exam successful completion is a job requirement.
  • 2-year associate's degree program in Radiology.
  • Preferred experience as an MRI Technologist, with Siemens products expertise.

We offer competitive compensation for this role, estimated to be around $65,000 - $80,000 per year, depending on experience. This figure may vary based on factors such as education level and years of experience.
