We are seeking a highly skilled Medical Imaging Specialist - Interventional Radiology to join our team at Quadrant Inc in Washington, DC.

About the Role:

This is a rewarding opportunity for an experienced X-ray technologist to work with advanced imaging technologies and contribute to high-quality patient care. The ideal candidate will have strong technical skills, excellent communication abilities, and a commitment to patient safety and satisfaction.

Responsibilities:

  • Imaging Procedures: Safely and effectively operate X-ray equipment to produce high-quality digital images of bones and tissues, supporting accurate diagnoses and treatments.
  • Patient Preparation: Prepare patients for radiological procedures, adhering to established protocols for patient care and safety.
  • Radiation Safety: Protect patients, staff, and self from radiation exposure by following best practices and industry standards.
  • Image Quality: Obtain high-quality radiographs within acceptable timeframes, accurately digitize images with correct patient data, and ensure anatomical orientation on all images.
  • Equipment Maintenance: Ensure all equipment is in good working condition, compliant with laws and regulations, and maintained according to manufacturer guidelines.

Requirements:

  • A minimum of 3 years of experience as a Radiologic Technologist, preferably with interventional experience.
  • Current DC Radiologic Technologist License and current ARRT Certification or eligibility.
  • Valid CPR certification.
