Ground Transportation Supervisor Position for Professional Growth

Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Ground Transportation Supervisor to join our team at SP+. As a key member of our operations staff, you will be responsible for supervising and providing support to frontline employees in the absence of the on-site Manager.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Schedule Management: Ensure all operational schedules are fully staffed with qualified, trained customer service orientated employees.
  • Daily/Weekly Schedules: Prepare daily/weekly shift schedules to meet operational needs.
  • Employee Training: Assist in training of operations staff and commercial vehicle operators to ensure they understand airport and SP+ policies, procedures, rules, and regulations.
  • Frontline Support: Monitor all frontline operations activities, assist in resolving issues/complaints, and investigate accidents/incidents as needed.
  • Logistics: Coordinate availability, distribution, and proper use of 2-way radios, ensure adequate supplies are available to all frontline employees, and coordinate collection/delivery of trip tickets.

Requirements:

  • Experience: Minimal 2 years of experience in a fast-paced commercial transportation/customer service environment preferred.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent oral and written communication skills, ability to respond well to questions, and interpret written information.
  • Customer Service: Positive attitude, responsive to requests for service and assistance.
  • Judgment and Adaptability: Exhibits sound judgment and adapts to changes in the work environment.
  • Licensing: Valid state-issued driver's license required.

  • Salary: $25.00 per hour
