Salary Information

This paid internship comes with a competitive hourly rate of $18.13, providing interns with a stable financial foundation while they gain valuable work experience. As a full-time position, interns can expect to work a variety of shifts, including day, evening, and night rotations, as well as 8- or 12-hour shifts depending on unit selection.

Job Description

As a Summer Student Nurse Intern, your primary responsibilities will involve providing direct patient care under the supervision of licensed nursing staff. You will be part of a supportive patient care team, contributing to the delivery of exceptional patient outcomes. In this role, you will have opportunities to engage with various departments, including endoscopy, family birth center, ICU, operating room, and more, broadening your understanding of the interdisciplinary nature of healthcare.

Required Skills and Qualifications

To be eligible for this internship, candidates must possess a strong academic record, with a completion of junior year in a Bachelor of Nursing program required. Additionally, successful applicants must hold Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from an accredited provider, such as the American Heart Association or the Red Cross, and ensure that their certification does not expire during the internship period. Preference will be given to candidates graduating between December 2025 and June 2026.
