Job Summary

The Radiologic Technologist will work in ambulatory or acute care environments, performing and interpreting radiology exams under the direction of a Radiologist. The ideal candidate will be competent in radiology, able to independently acquire the proper exam for interpretation, and operate all radiological equipment in the proper setting.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare patients and equipment for procedures, educating them on exam prep instructions and providing professional age-specific interaction.
  • Administer contrast agents using aseptic techniques, document patient information, and complete injector training.
  • Provide exceptional customer service, working as a team with other imaging departments to coordinate patient care and flow.
  • Efficiently perform multiple complex tasks, including outpatient examinations, trauma patients, and fluoroscopy in the department and c-arms in OR cases.
  • Protect patients and employees by adhering to infection-control policies and protocols, minimizing radiation exposure to patients and staff.
Requirements
  • High School Diploma/GED Equivalent: General Studies
  • Graduate - Radiology Program Certification - Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification - American Heart Association (AHA); Radiologic Technologist (RT) - American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT)
  • 3+ years of Radiologic Technologist experience
Preferred Qualifications
  • Fluoroscopy experience preferred, willing to train
  • Other Modalities Certifications Preferred, Willing to train
