The estimated salary for this position is $60,000 - $80,000 per year, based on industry standards and location. This figure may vary depending on factors such as experience and qualifications.

About the Job:

  • You will be responsible for teaching private and group squash lessons while adhering to department programming brand standards and SOPs.
  • Growing your book of business and revenue to meet personal financial goals will also be a key aspect of this role.
  • Providing member-centric customer service to encourage repeat business and referrals is crucial to success.

Job Duties and Responsibilities:

  1. Instruction and Coaching: Monitor, demonstrate, and instruct students during squash lessons on proper techniques, tactics, and strategies to improve their overall squash game.
  2. Lesson Development: Develop safe, professional, and comprehensive squash lessons and programs to ensure students develop along a pathway that encourages continued involvement and a positive Net Promoter Score.
  3. Member Experience: Create exceptional member experiences by involving members with programs, tournaments, and special events, fully utilizing available marketing support and tools.
  4. Registration and Billing: Ensure proper registration and billing for squash students and programming, including booking lessons/programs in the Life Time court scheduling software and following all company SOPs.
  5. Sales Effort: Participate in the system-wide sales effort with Membership Advisors and Member Activities, ensuring Squash is an integral component of the Life Time brand.

Position Requirements:

  • A high school graduate or equivalent is required.
  • Excellent customer service skills, a friendly, outgoing, and positive attitude are essential.
  • A thorough knowledge of the game of squash and effective teaching styles and techniques are necessary.
  • Excellent communication, time management, and organization skills are required.
  • Comfortable working with all age groups and building positive relationships with members and team members.
  • Ability to sit, stand, walk, reach, climb, and lift up to 50 pounds.
  • Authorized to work in the US or Canada, depending on the work location.
  • Squash Level 1 Certified - or European Equivalent.
  • CPR and AED Certified within 30 days of hire.

Preferred Requirements:

  • One or more years' experience in Squash Instruction would be beneficial.
