Job SummaryWe're looking for a highly skilled RN to fill a 13-week Step Down Unit position at one of our top client facilities. As a travel nurse with Fusion Medical Staffing-Nursing, you'll have the opportunity to work in a dynamic and supportive environment, surrounded by a team of dedicated professionals who share your passion for delivering exceptional patient care.
About the RoleThis position offers a unique chance to make a meaningful impact in the lives of patients and their families. As a Registered Nurse on our team, you'll be responsible for providing high-quality care to patients in the Step Down Unit, working closely with physicians and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement effective treatment plans.
You'll also have the opportunity to work with a variety of patients, each with their own unique needs and challenges, and contribute to a positive and supportive work environment that fosters collaboration and teamwork.
Key Responsibilities- Provide direct patient care, including assessing patients' conditions, developing and implementing care plans, and administering medications as prescribed.
- Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive and coordinated care.
- Maintain accurate and detailed records of patient interactions and progress.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and other healthcare team members to ensure smooth transitions and optimal outcomes.
To be considered for this role, you should possess:
- A valid RN license and current registration.
- One to three years of experience in a hospital setting, preferably in the Step Down Unit or a similar specialty.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- A strong commitment to delivering exceptional patient care and a passion for making a positive impact in the lives of others.
