Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Patient Services Representative to join our team at MAKO Medical. As a key member of our laboratory team, you will be responsible for collecting and processing medical specimens, conducting data entry, and providing exceptional customer service to our patients and clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collect and process medical specimens according to established procedures and protocols.
  • Conduct thorough research and verification of test/client information, including electronic orders and lab technology systems.
  • Accurately enter data into our laboratory information system, including patient registration, test orders, and billing information.
  • Collect payments and safeguard assets, including credit card information.
  • Perform departmental-related clerical duties, such as data entry, inventory management, and answering phones.
  • Read, understand, and comply with departmental policies, protocols, and procedures.
  • Verify patient demographic information and initials, including patient signature post-venipuncture.
  • Maintain accurate phlebotomy logs and complete training courses to stay up-to-date with the latest phlebotomy techniques.
Requirements
  • Ability to provide quality, error-free work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal on-site supervision.
  • Excellent phlebotomy skills, including pediatric and geriatric.
  • Flexibility and availability to work weekends, holidays, on-call, and overtime as needed.
  • Commitment to all MAKO policies and procedures, including company dress code.
  • Reliable transportation, valid driver's license, and clean driving record (if applicable).

  • Phlebotomy Certification
