Nurse Caregiver for Adult with Spinal Cord Injury

Job Description:
We are seeking a compassionate and professional Registered Nurse (RN) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to provide essential nighttime care for an adult male with a spinal cord injury. The ideal candidate will have experience in hospital, long-term care, or home care settings, particularly with third/overnight shifts.
Responsibilities:
- Monitor and maintain ventilator during night shifts
- Provide trach care and respiratory suctioning
- Assist with urinary and bowel management
- Bathe, provide skin care, massage, and range of motion exercises
- Administer medication and monitor vital signs as needed
- Support daily living activities
- Perform light cleaning duties, including laundry, wiping down surfaces, changing trash and recycling, sweeping floors, and ironing
- Care for pets as required
Qualifications:
- Registered Nurse (RN) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) certification
- Minimum 2 years experience in hospital, long-term care, or home care settings, particularly on night shifts
- Strong communication skills and a collaborative spirit
- Up-to-date COVID-19 vaccination
- Valid driver's license
- Ability to travel within and outside the U.S. for up to 5 weeks per year
