About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated Senior Corporate Tax Leader to join our dynamic team. As a key member of our tax department, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of tax compliance, planning, and advisory services. This is an exciting opportunity to work with a diverse portfolio of clients, providing innovative tax solutions and strategies that drive business success.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee the preparation and review of corporate, partnership, and individual tax returns.
  • Develop and implement effective tax planning strategies for clients.
  • Manage and coordinate tax audits and inquiries from tax authorities.
  • Provide tax advisory services, including advising on the tax implications of business decisions and transactions.
  • Conduct detailed tax research to stay abreast of changes in tax laws and regulations and provide guidance to clients and team members.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the integration of tax considerations into business operations.
  • Monitor and analyze proposed and newly enacted tax legislation to determine the potential impact on clients.
  • Provide leadership and guidance to junior team members, fostering a culture of continuous learning and development.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. An advanced degree in Taxation or a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) designation is preferred.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in a tax role, with a focus on corporate tax, tax planning, and compliance.
  • In-depth knowledge of federal and state tax laws and regulations.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret and apply complex tax concepts.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to explain complex tax issues in a clear and concise manner.
  • Proven experience in managing multiple client engagements and deadlines.
  • Proficiency in tax software and technology tools.
  • Strong leadership skills, with the ability to mentor and develop team members.
  • High level of professionalism and integrity, with the ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
  • Self-motivated and detail-oriented, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Salary and Benefits

The estimated salary range for this position is $90,000 - $150,000 per year, based on location and industry standards. We offer a comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, dental insurance, flexible schedule, paid time off, and a 401(k) match.
