Obstetrician-Gynecologist Opportunity at Crossing Rivers Health

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate OB-GYN physician to join our team at Crossing Rivers Health. The ideal candidate will possess a friendly, approachable, and collaborative demeanor, fostering a supportive environment for both patients and colleagues.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Embrace and promote natural approaches to obstetrics whenever possible, ensuring the well-being of both the mother and the baby.
  • Manage cases involving External Cephalic Version (ECV), breech deliveries, and forceps-assisted deliveries with confidence and expertise.
  • Demonstrate advanced skills in managing high-risk obstetric cases, providing comprehensive care and support to patients with complex medical conditions.
  • Perform a wide range of gynecological procedures, including LEEP, hysteroscopy, HSG, ablations, hysterectomy, and D&C, utilizing advanced techniques and ensuring patient safety and comfort.
  • Provide proficient infertility treatments, offering guidance and support to patients experiencing fertility challenges.
  • Collaborate effectively with midwives, nurses, and other healthcare professionals, embracing the midwifery model of care and its principles.
  • Be enthusiastic about patient education, taking the time to explain procedures, treatments, and options thoroughly.
  • Be willing to be on-call, including for cesarean deliveries, ensuring that patients receive timely and expert care during labor and delivery.
Requirements:
  • Board certification in Obstetrics and Gynecology.
  • State of Wisconsin medical license and DEA registration.
  • Completion of a residency program in Obstetrics and Gynecology.
  • Demonstrated experience in managing a wide range of obstetric and gynecological cases, including high-risk pregnancies.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
  • Commitment to providing patient-centered, compassionate care.
