Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Diesel Mechanic to join our team at Sedona Staffing TX in Central Texas. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for diagnosing and repairing diesel engines, as well as maintaining a clean and organized workspace.

About the Role

This is a fantastic opportunity to work with a variety of diesel engines, including Cummins Engines. You will have the chance to utilize your technical skills and knowledge to troubleshoot complex issues and provide solutions.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Troubleshoot diesel engine complaints and perform comprehensive inspections to identify worn or damaged parts.
  • Repair, rebuild, overhaul, assemble, and disassemble major assemblies, sub-assemblies, and components.
  • Utilize electronic testing equipment proficiently to diagnose and repair issues.
  • Maintain and operate a full set of hand tools and a tool chest on casters.
  • Perform DOT inspections and participate in ongoing product training to enhance job skills.
Requirements:
  • Training/experience in diesel diagnostics, repair, and rebuild.
  • Service Training Certifications for Cummins Engines (preferred).
  • A valid CDL within six months of hire.
  • Strong mechanical aptitude with the ability to lift up to 100 lbs.
  • Excellent verbal and written English communication skills.
