Epic Cinematic Storyteller

We are seeking a highly skilled Epic Cinematic Storyteller to join our team at Activision Blizzard. This role will be responsible for designing and implementing cinematic experiences that bring our game worlds to life.

The Epic Cinematic Storyteller will be responsible for developing assets for narrative and script events, working with the design team to set up cameras, timelines and events, supervising directing and recording sessions, and ensuring the visibility of game elements in improving the players' experience of the world. The ideal candidate will have proven experience (5 years +) designing cinematic and dialogue sequences, technical fluency using cinematic and game engine production tools, in-depth knowledge of the theoretical aspect of camera systems (direction and gameplay), resourceful, proactive and assertive, and a methodical approach to duties and objectives.

• Develop assets for narrative and script events
• Work with the design team to set up cameras, timelines and events
• Supervise directing and recording sessions
• Ensure the visibility of game elements in improving the players' experience of the world

• Proven experience (5 years +) designing cinematic and dialogue sequences
• Technical fluency using cinematic and game engine production tools
• In-depth knowledge of the theoretical aspect of camera systems (direction and gameplay)

• A methodical approach to duties and objectives

The standard base pay range for this role is $38.85 - $71.83 Hourly. In addition to a competitive base pay, employees in this role may be eligible for incentive compensation. • Familiarity with Premiere and After Effects
• Enjoyment of playing a variety of video game genres and titles
• Familiar with cinematics and dialogue presentation methods for narrative driven AAA games.
