About the Role:

We are seeking a dedicated Physical Therapist to join our team at SSM Health Cardinal Glennon Children's Hospital. This PRN position offers a unique opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of our patients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Evaluate and develop personalized physical therapy treatment plans for patients with movement dysfunction and pain resulting from injury, disease, or other health-related conditions.
  • Conduct initial and ongoing assessments to identify patient needs and establish goals for care.
  • Perform therapy interventions using standard physical therapy techniques and skills tailored to each patient's condition.
  • Provide education and support to patients, families, and staff to promote effective rehabilitation and independence.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure seamless continuity of care and coordinate discharge planning as needed.
  • Maintain accurate documentation of patient progress and response to therapy.
  • Supervise physical therapy assistants, students, and other support personnel to ensure high-quality care.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy, or related field required.
  • No experience necessary; licensure in state of practice required.
