Job Summary

The CDL Driver is responsible for safely transporting materials and equipment to and from well-site locations across multiple states. This role requires operating a commercial motor vehicle in a manner that optimizes the organization's efficiency and helps achieve daily and weekly delivery goals.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Drive truck to and from designated destinations, verifying loads and maintaining records of duty status according to state and federal regulations.
  • Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections, submitting written reports on the condition of the truck.
  • Operate equipment in various weather conditions, including heavy traffic and inclement weather.
  • Check shipping papers for accuracy and verify the nature of the load.
  • Unload materials, equipment, and other cargo using a forklift, as needed.
  • Report accidents, incidents, and highway safety hazards, as well as delays due to breakdowns, weather, or traffic conditions.
  • Maintain records required for compliance with state and federal regulations, including driver's records of duty status and mileage records.
Requirements:
  • Three to five years of commercial driving experience, preferred.
  • One to two years of commercial driving experience and certification from an accredited commercial driving school.
  • Valid CDL, Class A license, and experience hauling oversize and overweight loads.
  • Ability to read and write English language, as well as knowledge of vehicle safety and control systems, DOT regulations, inspection, and maintenance practices.
  • High school diploma or GED, required.
