About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled RF Hardware Design Engineer to join our Connectivity RF Hardware team at Apple. As a key member of our Hardware Engineering team, you will be responsible for designing future wireless products and contributing to the architecture and product-level design integration of next-generation wireless radio solutions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Investigate and develop various RF front-end architectures to solve product requirements
  • Lead the architecture and design for wireless solutions into Apple products, including front-end architecture, component specification, line-up analysis and modeling, design implementation, and failure analysis
  • Work proactively with cross-functional engineering groups, such as antenna design, industrial design, product design, production test, regulatory, reliability, and software engineering
Requirements
  • B.S. required, Master's or PhD preferred
  • Experience leading projects from definition stage to mass production
  • Expertise in one or more connectivity wireless systems, such as WiFi, Bluetooth, UWB, or NFC
  • Experience with RF components and circuits design and integration into consumer products
  • Experience with at least one RF simulation tool, such as HFSS, ADS, Matlab, or SystemVue
