Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Executive Chef and Operations Manager to join our team. This key leadership role will oversee kitchen operations, including menu planning, inventory management, and staff supervision. The ideal candidate will have a passion for delivering exceptional culinary experiences and a proven track record in managing high-volume kitchens.

Key Responsibilities
  • Kitchen Operations: Direct and supervise kitchen staff to ensure seamless execution of menus, manage inventory levels, and maintain high-quality standards.
  • Menu Planning and Development: Collaborate with our culinary team to create new menu items, update existing ones, and ensure alignment with our company's vision and values.
  • Staff Supervision and Development: Lead and motivate our kitchen team to achieve exceptional performance, provide training and coaching, and foster a positive work environment.
  • Financial Management: Oversee kitchen budgets, control costs, and identify opportunities for improvement to drive business growth.
  • Safety and Compliance: Ensure adherence to food safety regulations, maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment, and promote a culture of safety among kitchen staff.
Requirements
  • Experience: 2-3 years of management experience in a full-service restaurant environment, preferably in a scratch kitchen.
  • Credentials: ServSafe certification and state/local licensing requirements preferred.
  • Skills: Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills, proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, and ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
  • Work Environment: Ability to stand for at least 10 hours per shift, work 50-60 hours per week, and adapt to flexible shifts and schedules.
Compensation and Benefits

The estimated salary for this position is $88,000 annually, plus a 10% bonus potential.
