**Job Summary**

We are seeking a skilled Flatbed Truck Driver/Oversize to join our team at Industrial Steel Construction, Inc.

**About the Role**

This is an excellent opportunity for a professional driver with experience in handling oversized and overweight loads to utilize their skills in a dynamic work environment.

**Responsibilities**

The successful candidate will be responsible for safely operating a 53'-90' stretch trailer flat bed work truck with a capacity of at least 40,000-pound minimum (GVW) and a maximum capacity of 150,000-pound Gross Vehicle Weight (GVW).

The role requires:

  • Safely operate a Tri-axle truck / stretch trailer, steerable, and drop decks with the coordination of escorts with various types of loads – oversized (53' – 110' length), overweight, over height (13'6" & above), and over width (8'6" wide and above)
  • Load and unload cargo in our steel yard as needed during downtime
  • Properly track and document activity log, hours, and all paperwork
  • Report any issues or incidents to management
  • Inspect the truck before and after each trip, requiring basic knowledge of tractor/trailer
  • Tie/bind down loads using snap binders/ratchet binders

**Requirements**

To be considered for this position, candidates must have:

  • Previous experience in truck driving stretch loads is a plus, with a manual endorsement for 13 speed/18 speed transmissions
  • A valid commercial driver's license (CDL) without automatic transmission capabilities
  • The ability to handle a physically demanding workload, including lifting more than 50 pounds, working with hands, and heights
  • A strong work ethic
  • Mechanical experience is a plus
  • At least 3 months of training on-site at our facility

**Compensation Package**

The compensation package includes a competitive salary range of $60,000 - $80,000 per year, depending on experience, as well as benefits such as health, prescription drug, vision, dental, life, and disability insurances. Our comprehensive benefits package also includes a 401(k) plan.
