We are seeking a highly skilled USMC TECOM Liaison Officer to serve as the primary point of contact between TECOM and the Joint National Training Capability (JNTC) JS J-7. This role involves facilitating seamless communication, coordination, and integration of Marine Corps training requirements into joint training efforts.

Key Responsibilities
  • Liaison Role: Serve as the principal point of contact between TECOM and JNTC JS J-7, ensuring effective communication and alignment of training requirements.
  • Training Coordination: Ensure that Marine Corps training needs, goals, and objectives are accurately represented and integrated into joint training events, exercises, and planning activities.
  • Support Joint Exercises: Assist in the planning, execution, and evaluation of joint training exercises that involve multiple branches of the military, ensuring effective integration and preparation of Marine Corps forces.
  • Provide Strategic Guidance: Offer expertise and guidance on the integration of Marine Corps training systems, doctrine, and standards into joint training exercises, ensuring that exercises meet operational and educational needs while adhering to JNTC objectives.
  • Collaboration & Integration: Work closely with senior leaders from other services, JNTC, and Joint Staff J-7 to advocate for the Marine Corps and ensure its requirements are accurately reflected in joint training plans and exercises.
  • Provide advice on operational, strategic, and tactical issues related to Marine Corps participation in joint training.
  • Cross-Functional Coordination: Coordinate with various TECOM departments, training commands, and external agencies to ensure the Marine Corps is prepared and well-represented in joint training exercises.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor's degree preferred.
  • Experience as a USMC Staff Non-Commissioned Officer (SNCO) or above preferred.
  • Marine Corps operations/training experience.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Strong understanding of U.S. military training systems, including Joint National Training Capability (JNTC), and multi-service training integration.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to interact with senior military leaders, training officers, and joint staff at all levels.
  • Strong strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities, with the capacity to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Knowledge of Joint Staff J-7 processes, military doctrine, and training protocols.
  • Exceptional organizational skills, with the ability to manage complex schedules, tasks, and priorities.
Working Conditions
  • Required to sit or stand for extended periods of time and maintain focus.
  • Required to walk ranges/training areas in harsh weather conditions on a regular basis.
  • Driving on trails and unimproved roads.
  • May be required to lift awkward sized items weighing up to 50 pounds.
  • Work in weather conditions where temperatures exceed 100 degrees.
Compensation and Benefits

The estimated salary for this position is $80,000 - $110,000 per year, depending on qualifications and experience. Additional benefits may include health insurance, retirement plan, and paid time off.
