Restaurant Server Opportunity at Bluebird Hunter Lodge

We are seeking a skilled and friendly Restaurant Server to join our team at Bluebird Hunter Lodge. As a Restaurant Server, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a memorable dining experience for our guests.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Collect accurate payment from guests and verify the guest check and payment method to prevent errors in transactions.
  • Participate in pre-shift and department meetings to gain a thorough understanding of our products, services, and facility activities.
  • Maintain complete knowledge of menu items, ingredients, and daily specials to answer customer queries and provide recommendations.
  • Welcome customers upon arrival, promptly seat them, take food and beverage orders, serve meals, and meet any special requirements or requests.
  • Restock and clean as instructed, including side work for opening and closing of the restaurant.
Requirements:
  • A high school diploma or equivalent GED certification is required.
  • Prior food service industry experience is highly desirable.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are necessary for working with customers and other team members.
  • Proven customer service experience with a strong guest-focused mentality is essential.
  • Displays impeccable time management and organizational skills.
