Salary

The estimated salary for this role is $85,000 annually plus a monthly training incentive of $1,000*. The pay is based on location, experience, and qualifications.

Job Description

This role involves strategic direction for the restaurant and maintaining operations standards to drive results through people development, sales, and profit growth. As a Restaurant Leader, you will be responsible for teaching, modeling, and upholding Raising Cane's culture standards for all crewmembers, customers, and partners.

The physical work environment includes working in a fast-paced kitchen environment, which requires extended periods of physical exertion, such as walking, standing, lifting, and bending. It also involves interacting with customers and working with and around food products, common allergens, industrial equipment, commercial cleaning products, and personal protective equipment.

You will be tasked with ensuring overall financial success of the restaurant, forecasting, and budgeting. Additionally, you will be responsible for hiring and terminating management-level crewmembers, creating crewmember work and training schedules, developing management-level crewmembers, including performance management, acting as manager on duty, opening and closing the restaurant, managing cash handling, monitoring profit and loss statements, and developing and executing strategy in all areas of financial and operational performance.

This role requires enforcing Raising Cane's policies and standards, using required tools, forms, and logs to support shift execution, document results, and take corrective action when needed. You will deploy crewmembers during a shift, provide exemplary customer service, utilize the reward and recognition program for crewmembers, authorize employee functions requiring manager approval, ensure cleanliness of the restaurant, and achieve and maintain training restaurant status.

Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need to be detail-oriented, organized, and able to manage multiple priorities that may be constantly changing. You should be self-driven, flexible, and highly energetic with strong analytical, written, and verbal communication skills. You must be able to work effectively and efficiently both independently and collaboratively, recognize problems, set goals, create plans, and convert plans into action to solve problems. Additionally, you will need to measure performance subjectively and objectively with a high level of emotional intelligence.

Proficiency in technology systems, including Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, and Outlook), and the ability to learn and adapt to new systems quickly are also essential. You will be required to work a variety of shifts, including days, evenings, and weekends, and travel as needed for work-related functions and training. Finally, you must be able to manage all public dealings in a professional manner, consistent with Raising Cane's policies, and act as a brand ambassador inside and outside the restaurant.

  • 5+ years of restaurant or retail management experience
  • New restaurant opening and local restaurant marketing experience preferred
  • Must be 18 years of age or older
  • High school diploma or equivalent required, some college preferred
  • Possess a valid driver's license
