Job Summary

VitalCore Health Strategies is seeking a highly skilled Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner to provide comprehensive psychiatric care to a diverse patient population in a correctional facility setting.

The ideal candidate will possess strong clinical competence, leadership abilities, and a passion for delivering exceptional mental health support.

This role requires a compassionate and resilient professional who can navigate unique challenges to develop and implement individualized treatment plans that address the complex mental health needs of the patient population.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide consultations and assessments to manage and stabilize emergent problems.
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to develop and implement treatment plans.
  • Participate in case conferences and treatment planning for patients receiving behavioral health treatment.
  • Provide behavioral health evaluations, assessments, and follow-up care.

Requirements:

  • Must be a licensed Nurse Practitioner in the State of employment.
  • Minimum one year of clinical nursing practice in a behavioral health setting, correctional experience preferred.
