Job Summary:

Kaleida Health is seeking a skilled Cardiac Monitoring Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will assist Registered Professional Nurses in the care of telemetry patients, utilizing cardiac monitoring equipment and interpreting cardiac rhythms.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the care of telemetry patients, including monitoring cardiac rhythms and responding to emergency situations.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to hospital standards.
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure high-quality patient care.

Requirements:

  • High School diploma or equivalent required; Associate's degree in a healthcare-related field preferred.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required within 6 months of hire; ACLS Monitor Tech Certification required within 12 months of hire.
  • 1 year of experience in a hospital setting with bedside clinical experience required; 1 year of experience as a monitor tech or related experience preferred.
