Lead Psychiatric Director for General Psychiatry

Our Behavioral Health Network at Hartford Healthcare is seeking a Lead Psychiatric Director to join our team. This position will oversee psychiatric services, provide leadership, and work closely with a multidisciplinary treatment team.
Key Responsibilities- Provide direct patient services including diagnostic admission evaluations, psychotherapy, and pharmacotherapy as appropriate.
- Work within a multi-disciplinary treatment team and may act as a clinical team leader for the coordination and supervision of care provided across clinical disciplines.
- Complete timely documentation of assessments, clinical interventions, and discharge summaries and updates records as specified in medical staff regulations.
We are looking for a Board Certified or Board Eligible psychiatrist with experience in adult, adolescent, or child in-patient and evaluation services, as well as experience with a multidisciplinary team treatment model. Additionally, you must have a State of CT, Department of Public Health license, DEA, and CCSR.
