Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Skilled Maintenance Tech Associate to join our team at Burlington Stores, Inc. in our Distribution Center/Warehouse. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for performing preventative and corrective maintenance on Distribution Center equipment and automated conveyor systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform scheduled and unscheduled maintenance on electrical systems, machinery, sorters, multiple types of conveyors, labelers, and powered industrial equipment.
  • Diagnose and repair equipment and system malfunctions promptly using blueprints, schematics, diagrams, technical manuals, and written instruction.
  • Perform equipment fabrications and modifications to include welding.
  • Mentor and train General Maintenance Technicians on repairs and procedures.
  • Lead and complete major repairs on equipment and provide root cause analysis.
  • Perform duties in compliance with all federal, state, and local safety regulations.
Requirements
  • Ability to troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair equipment and system malfunctions promptly.
  • Knowledge of PLC troubleshooting and the ability to explain the function of parts and process.
  • Ability to work with autonomy to achieve department goals and identify needs.
  • Knowledge of electrical issues and troubleshooting up to 480-volt systems.
  • Knowledge of the sortation systems from rebuilds, parts breakdown, and calibrations.

Physical Requirements

The physical requirements of this role include the ability to lift and move boxes, tools, and equipment weighing 50 lbs. or more, and the ability to stand for extended periods of time, as well as bend, stoop, crawl, stretch, climb, and lift repeatedly.
