Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse - PCU @ Providence Swedish Medical Center - Edmonds Campus to join our team at the Swedish Edmonds Campus. This is a 13-week contract opportunity with a guaranteed salary of $2303.44 per week.

Job Responsibilities

This role involves providing high-quality patient care in a dynamic and fast-paced Progressive Care Unit (PCU) environment. The successful candidate will have excellent communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to work effectively in a collaborative setting. Key responsibilities include:

  • Assessing and prioritizing patient needs, developing individualized care plans, and implementing interventions to improve patient outcomes.
  • Providing expert nursing care to critically ill patients, including those with respiratory failure, cardiac conditions, and renal issues.
  • Collaborating with the interdisciplinary healthcare team to coordinate care, communicate patient information, and make informed decisions about patient treatment.
  • Maintaining accurate and timely documentation of patient care, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and organizational standards.
Requirements and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A current RN license in the state of Washington.
  • A minimum of 2 years' experience as a Registered Nurse in an IMCU/Tele/CDU setting.
  • Current certifications in ACLS and BLS.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage competing demands.
