About This Role

The Corporate Communications Coordinator will be responsible for creating and supporting the Corporate Communications team, managing projects in a fast-paced deadline-driven environment. The role involves coordinating requests for internal stakeholders, gathering information, drafting content, publishing content, and communicating updates through various channels such as digital signage, employee intranet, newsletter, employee alerts, print, and email.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Project Management: Manage project intake and delegate responsibilities to appropriate teams/departments while meeting deadlines.
  • Content Creation: Write, design, and distribute digital communications for internal communications platforms, email, digital signage, and intranet sites.
  • Weekly Digest: Coordinate the weekly digest, highlighting stories and information of interest to all employees.
  • Messaging Consistency: Ensure communications follow consistent messaging across all channels.
  • Liaison: Collaborate with other Marketing Department team members and management, act as liaison between the Corporate Communications team and stakeholders in various levels/roles of the Company.
  • Proofreading: Proofreads copy to ensure accuracy and quality.
  • New Initiatives: Coordinate new initiatives and communication campaigns.
  • Style Guide: Adheres to and enforces the departments style guide and ensures all materials are consistent in grammar, punctuation, formatting, and spelling.
  • Special Projects: Contributes to and/or oversees special projects as assigned.

What You Will Need

  • Bachelor's degree in English, Communications, or Journalism from a four-year college or university; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • 2-3 years relevant work experience as part of employment history preferred.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office, PC operating systems.
  • Ability to communicate with graphic designers, web designers, various company departments, and outside vendors.
  • Strong project management skills, flexibility to shift focus to different projects depending on business demand, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong proofreading and writing skills required.
  • Ability to engage a variety of audiences.
  • Experience managing communication projects from intake through completion.
  • Flexibility and ability to switch focus to different projects when business demands change.
  • Excellent time management skills with ability to prioritize assignments.
  • Strong follow-up and attention to detail.
  • Airtable, M365, SnapComms, Workfront, and intranet platforms experience a plus.
  • Ability to autonomously investigate/research information needed for projects.
  • Comfortable communicating with all levels within organization, including senior management.
  • Crisis communications experience is a plus.

Salary Range: $55,000 - $65,000 per year based on location and experience.
