**Job Summary:**
Assist the professional nursing staff of the O.R. in executing the nursing process to provide individualized nursing care for a specific group of patients. Provide essential support during surgical procedures, maintaining a sterile environment and adhering to strict safety protocols.
**Responsibilities:**
- Assist surgeons and nurses with preparing patients for surgery
- Maintain aseptic conditions throughout the operating room
- Operate equipment such as retractors, suction devices, and lighting
- Collaborate with anesthesia providers to ensure safe patient care
- Document patient information and medical history accurately
**Requirements:**
- Satisfactory completion of an accredited Surgical Technician program required
- Previous experience as a Surgical Technician preferred
- Successful completion of National Exam of Surgical Technicians preferred
