Job Summary

Bridgewell is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Direct Support Professional 2 to join our team. As a key member of our residential programs, you will provide essential support and assistance to individuals with disabilities, empowering them to live safe, self-directed, and productive lives.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Provide support and assistance with skills training in all activities of daily living.
  2. Create opportunities for individuals to develop their skills and foster independence.
  3. Ensure compliance with DDS, DMH, MassHealth, HUD, DPH, CARF, and all applicable regulatory standards.
  4. Provide medical, clinical, and financial support as needed.
  5. Transport and accompany individuals to medical, recreational, and other activities.
  6. Maintain accurate documentation and records.
  7. Develop positive relationships with guardians, family members, and stakeholders.

Requirements:

  1. High school diploma or GED required; Associates or DSP Certification preferred.
  2. Minimum 1 year of experience working with people with developmental or psychiatric disabilities.
  3. Valid driver's license and 1 year of driving experience.
