Key Responsibilities:
- Perform routine and specialized CT scan examinations using state-of-the-art equipment.
- Prepare and position patients for scans, ensuring their comfort and safety.
- Assist physicians during procedures as needed.
- Process and review CT scan images for quality and completeness.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
- Educate patients about their CT scan procedures.
- Collaborate effectively with colleagues to ensure efficient workflow.
- Stay up-to-date on the latest advancements in CT technology and best practices.
Requirements:
- Graduate of an accredited radiography program with a focus on CT.
- (R) and or (CT) certified and / or NMTCB registered (CNMT), and documented training and experience in operating CT equipment and radiation physics and protection.
- DOH IV certification preferred or by completion of 6-month orientation.
- BLS certification through the (AHA) American Heart Association is required or must be completed within 90 days of hire.
- New York State DOH Licensure or Limited Permit required.
- ARRT registered (RT) with CT (or R) certification preferred.
- Minimum of 1 year of experience operating CT equipment.
- Commitment to safety, quality, and continuous learning.
