Therapeutic Preschool Master's Level Clinician

At the Helen Ross McNabb Center, we are dedicated to providing exceptional care and support to our clients. As a Therapeutic Preschool Master's Level Clinician, you will play a vital role in helping us achieve this mission.

Job Summary

This position is responsible for providing individual, group, and family therapeutic interventions that are evidence-based, trauma-informed, and family-focused. You will work closely with children and their families to assess mental health needs, develop treatment plans, and provide supportive relationships.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide individual, group, and family therapeutic interventions that are evidence-based, trauma-informed, and family-focused.
  • Assess mental health needs of children and develop treatment plans in collaboration with families.
  • Maintain trauma-informed and supportive relationships with children and their caregivers.
  • Run psychoeducational groups with children, including managing group schedules, meals, therapeutic activities, and curriculum.
  • Assist children in learning, developing, and using self-regulation strategies that improve emotion regulation and reduce trauma-related behaviors.
  • Complete outpatient individual and family therapy in accordance with productivity targets.
  • Maintain strong collaboration with partners on behalf of the children and families served.
  • Assist in tasks that improve overall management of program, including arranging transportation for clients, maintaining program supplies, overseeing interns, insurance authorizations, and other administrative tasks.
  • Complete documentation of program activities in a timely manner and in accordance with program and Center-wide policies.
Requirements
  • A Master's degree in Social Work, Psychology, or a related field is required.
  • Training in trauma-informed care and interventions, child psychopathology, cultural diversity, and child development is preferred.
  • One year of experience using evidence-based trauma treatment methods with children is preferred.
