Field Test Engineer

We're seeking a highly skilled Field Test Engineer to lead the integration and deployment of our C2 and vehicle autonomy systems. As a key member of our team, you'll be responsible for leading software, firmware, and basic electrical integrations with third-party platforms.

  • Develop and execute test plans to ensure customer field test objectives are met and product feedback is incorporated back into the core product.
  • Collaborate with product development teams to ensure seamless integration and deployment of our systems.
  • Travel to customer test sites to perform onsite integrations and testing, up to 50% of the time.

Key qualifications include:

  • Experience working with embedded/IoT systems and generalist embedded systems knowledge.
  • Proficiency in at least one major programming language, such as Python, C/C++, Golang, or Java.
  • Working knowledge of networking, including NAT, mDNS, network protocols, multicast, and firewall configuration.
  • Ability to effectively engage with customers, understand their problems, and drive successful outcomes.

Additional desirable skills include:

  • Hands-on robotics or aerospace experience.
  • Experience in both Linux and Windows system administration tasks.
  • Electronics prototyping experience, including soldering, breadboarding, and interpreting schematics and datasheets.

Candidates must be able to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret security clearance and be a U.S. citizen, lawful permanent resident, or eligible to obtain the required authorizations from the U.S. Department of State.
