At Rehab Without Walls Neuro Rehabilitation, we are seeking an experienced Speech Language Pathologist to join our team of dynamic therapists. As a Speech Language Pathologist, you will have the opportunity to make a meaningful impact in the lives of our patients by providing functional rehabilitation in their natural home and community environment.

About the Role

We are looking for a skilled Speech Language Pathologist who is enthusiastic about providing rehabilitation services in a variety of settings, including the home, community, workplace, and school. You will be responsible for performing evaluations and developing treatment plans for patients with speech, language, cognitive, and swallowing disorders. You will also be responsible for regularly re-assessing the effectiveness of treatment plans, attending staffing meetings and family conferences, and communicating patient needs and progress to the treatment team, physician, person receiving services, and family members.

Responsibilities

Perform evaluations and develop treatment plans for patients with speech, language, cognitive, and swallowing disorders
Regularly re-assess the effectiveness of treatment plans and attend staffing meetings and family conferences
Communicate patient needs and progress to the treatment team, physician, person receiving services, and family members
Collaborate with other disciplines to ensure coordination of care and enhance patient outcomes

Qualifications

We require a minimum of a Master's Degree from an accredited Speech Language Pathology program, a valid Speech Language Pathology license in the state(s) of practice, current CPR certification in accordance with state regulations, and a minimum of one year's work experience as a Speech Language Pathologist. You should also demonstrate knowledge of rehabilitation techniques related to complex neurological injury, communicate effectively and professionally in verbal and written interactions, and be able to lift 50 pounds. Additional physical requirements include pushing/pulling, bending/stooping, reaching, kneeling, and positioning frequently at times. A health screen or examination may be required prior to assignment and periodically thereafter, depending on specific location policy, local and state regulations to verify employee is physically capable of performing assigned duties with or without reasonable accommodations.
