Job Description

">

We are seeking a skilled Senior Clinical Pharmacy Manager to join our team. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for providing clinical consultative services to patients and therapeutic recommendations to nurses, physicians, and other hospice personnel.

You will conduct and evaluate medication profiles/histories, assess compliance, and suggest modifications to optimize medication regimens using sound clinical pharmacy principles. Your expertise will account for pharmacodynamic and pharmacokinetic variations in drug absorption, distribution, metabolism, and elimination to achieve desired therapeutic outcomes.

In addition, you will answer customer questions, help resolve customer issues, enter, access, and retrieve data in our pharmacy system, transcribe, verify, and fill medication orders, maintain proper storage and security conditions for medications, and contribute to a productive and error-free work environment.

Qualifications and Requirements

">

To be successful in this role, you must possess exceptionally strong written and verbal communication skills, with special emphasis on effective telephone correspondence and a customer-first attitude. You should also have excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and maintain a courteous and professional composure during stressful situations.

Furthermore, you should be able to work cooperatively with both pharmacists and technicians, possess a current and in-good-standing pharmacist license, and hold a Doctor of Pharmacy Degree or BS Pharmacy Degree.

Compensation and Benefits

">

The salary for this position is estimated at $159,000 - $174,000 per year, based on the location and industry standards. As a valued member of our team, you will also enjoy a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, and vision insurance, 401(k) matching, and paid time off.
