In this role, you will be responsible for the final processing of composite parts, ensuring they meet the required specifications. This includes operating machinery, loading and unloading materials, deflashing, grinding, sanding, cutting, boring, and painting composite parts to precise dimensions. Additionally, you will perform slitting, drilling, and other miscellaneous finish work using fixtures.
Key Responsibilities:
Operate machinery to process composite parts
Load and unload materials and parts
Deflash and grind composite parts to specified dimensions
Perform cutting, boring, and painting operations
Use fixtures for slitting, drilling, and other finish work
Requirements:
Previous experience with processing carbon fiber composite parts is highly desirable
Ability to understand and follow written and oral instructions and engineering prints
Ability to use calipers, micrometers, and tape measures to verify part dimensions and accuracy
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
