About This Role

We're seeking a driven professional with an inclusive mindset to join our team as an Assistant Store Leader - Design & Trade. As a key member of our store leadership team, you'll play a critical role in delivering exceptional customer experiences and driving sales growth.

Key Responsibilities
  • Customer Experience: Ensure all customers receive gracious, quick, and efficient service, setting expectations and modeling excellent service by exhibiting a positive attitude and enthusiasm toward the job and the company.
  • Leadership: Collaborate with the Store Leader to establish and communicate critical metrics and expectations within the store, including sales, visual, operations, safety, loss prevention, human resources, payroll/scheduling, and training.
  • Performance Management: Coach, teach, train, recognize, and manage all aspects of performance and development for all store associates to encourage professional growth and build a bench of talent.
  • Sales Growth: Focus on promoting and driving sales as they pertain to or are driven by position, acting as the Leader on Duty (LOD).
  • Collaboration: Partner with the Store Leader and other functional Assistant Store Leaders during new season planning and execution.
  • Analysis and Improvement: Analyze results through reporting, translating numbers into actionable behaviors and goals to improve KPI results.
Requirements
  • Experience: 2+ years of customer service or retail leadership experience.
  • Education: High school diploma/GED or equivalent, Associate degree or equivalent preferred.
  • Availability: Full-Time roles require open availability to work flexible hours on weekdays, evenings, and weekends.
