At Vibra Travels, we offer a unique travel program that allows you to work with one recruiter from start to finish and assignment to assignment.
We have local and non-local positions available, offering competitive hourly rates in addition to tax-free stipends (if applicable). Additionally, our program ensures no pay cuts mid-contract, along with referral bonuses up to $1000 per referral. We also reimburse licenses for traveling to new states where new licenses are required.
As a Traveling Healthcare Professional with Vibra Travels, your responsibilities will include developing, implementing, evaluating, and revising plans of care for assigned patients and families while promoting the mission and values of Vibra Travels. This involves direct care, delegation, and supervision of all nursing care in accordance with the applicable Nurse Practice Act.
Some specific components of this role include demonstrating clinical competence, managing patient care, improving quality of care, establishing professional relationships, utilizing professional skills, fulfilling responsibilities as a hospital nurse, and developing clinical expertise per specialty.
This position requires supervising Licensed Practical/Vocational Nurses, Certified Nursing Assistants, Nursing Aides, and Techs.
To be eligible for this role, you must possess a current, valid, and active license to practice as a Registered Nurse in the state of employment. You must also hold a current BLS certification from a Vibra Travels-approved vendor and a valid driver's license. Ability to travel using publicly available air and ground transportation is essential.
A minimum of 1 year acute care experience is strongly preferred. Strong organizational, prioritizing, and analytical skills are required, along with the ability to make independent decisions when circumstances warrant. Working knowledge of computer and software applications used in job functions is necessary. Finally, freedom from illegal use of and effects of drugs and alcohol in the workplace is expected.
Vibra follows federal and state requirements for vaccinations, vaccination offerings, and disease screening. Some states and locations may have different vaccine or screening requirements.
