Speech Language Pathologist for Academic Support

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) to provide academic support in the Hainesport, NJ area.
About the Role:
- This part-time contract position involves assessing and diagnosing speech, language, and communication disorders, developing personalized treatment plans, and educating families and caregivers.
- The successful candidate will collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to support student progress and participate in IEP meetings.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive evaluations and diagnoses of speech, language, and communication disorders.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to each patient's unique needs.
- Educate patients and their families about speech disorders, their causes, and effective management techniques.
- Collaborate with educators, administrators, and healthcare professionals to ensure cohesive support for students.
- Deliver direct therapy services to students in individual or group settings.
- Maintain accurate records of patient conditions, treatment plans, and therapy sessions.
- Participate in professional development opportunities to enhance skills and knowledge in speech-language pathology.
Requirements:
- A master's degree in Speech Language Pathology is required, along with full accreditation (CCC) and experience working in a school setting as an SLP.
- Prior experience in a speech-language pathology setting is necessary.
Salary and Benefits:
Estimated salary: $65,000 - $85,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications.
