At Norman Regional Health System, we are dedicated to providing exceptional patient care and a supportive work environment for our team members. As a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) in our Rheumatology Clinic, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality care to our patients.
About the RoleThis is a rewarding opportunity for an experienced LPN to join our dynamic healthcare team. You will be responsible for administering medication, maintaining exam rooms, documenting nursing care, and assisting with patient monitoring and training staff. If you possess a high school diploma, LPN licensure, and 1-2 years of relevant experience in clinical settings, we encourage you to apply.
Responsibilities- Performs duties of a licensed practical nurse as prescribed by the Oklahoma Nurse Practice Act
- Contributes to the development of a plan of care and follows through with such plan for selected patients
- Administers medication with a high degree of safety and accuracy
- Maintains the exam rooms and work environment
- Documents nursing care and activities
- Assists with patient care and monitors patients during procedures
- Assists with the training of other staff
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- High school diploma or equivalent and completion of a vocational program for Licensed Practical Nurse
- Prefer at least 1-2 year experience in a clinical or physician-office setting, emergency room and/or a hospital setting that provides patient care. Experience in office clerical activities desirable
- Current LPN license from the State of Oklahoma or active Multistate LPN license is required
We offer a competitive salary range of $17.39-$28.40 per hour, depending on previous work experience.
