About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Research Nurse Specialist to join our team at the Indiana Hemophilia and Thrombosis Center. As a key member of our research team, you will be responsible for assisting with the execution of research projects, ensuring compliance with regulatory processes, and providing exceptional patient care.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist with the planning and execution of research projects under the direction of the Medical Director and primary investigator.
  • Function as an integral part of the research and comprehensive care teams, working collaboratively with colleagues to meet deadlines and maintain a flexible schedule.
  • Assess patients for inclusion and exclusion criteria to determine study eligibility and coordinate study-related patient care.
  • Participate in informed consent processes, document refusals, and ensure accurate and prompt communication with patients, investigators, and external contacts.
  • Prepare and submit study-related documentation, including protocol worksheets, procedural manuals, and regulatory forms.

Requirements:

  • Minimum Associate's degree in nursing required.
  • Valid nursing licensure (RN, LPN, etc.) required.
  • Minimum 2 years of patient care experience required.
  • Experience with pharmaceutical-sponsored studies or clinical research preferred.
