MedStar Health is seeking a skilled Radiologic Technologist to operate conventional, fluoroscopic, and portable radiology equipment to obtain routine radiographs of designated body areas according to physician specification and radiographic protocols. As a member of our team, you will be responsible for preparing patients for radiographs, lifting patients onto and off examination tables, and properly positioning patients for X-ray exams. You will also assist in the administration of drugs and/or contrast agents, calculate and select proper technical factors, and process and develop film. Additionally, you will enter data into the Radiology Information System (MARS) for medical records, billing, statistics, and quality assurance purposes. If you have a High School Diploma or GED, an Associate degree in applied science, and previous job experience, and are certified by the American Registry of Radiologic Technology (ARRT), we encourage you to apply for this exciting opportunity.
