Cardiologist Position in MaineHealth

MaineHealth Cardiology is seeking a BC/BE Clinical Cardiologist (non-interventional) for our Lewiston-based practice. This position offers a unique hybrid role, providing the opportunity to practice part-time or full-time in a community-based setting while also participating in the dynamic pace of tertiary care at Maine Medical Center, located in Portland.
Key Highlights:
Ambulatory-only position with limited inpatient consultation and no nights, weekends, or call coverage responsibilities.
Opportunities for leadership roles in education and research are available for the appropriate applicant.
Join a team of over 50 cardiologists who provide inpatient, outpatient, and consultative services.
About the Role:
This position is part of a growing practice with office locations in Augusta, Waterville, Lewiston, Rockport, and Scarborough, and a nationally recognized inpatient cardiovascular service line at Maine Medical Center which serves as the hub for the extended MaineHealth network. The selected candidate will work closely with other regional hospitals to build a coordinated network of cardiology services, providing patients across the state with the highest quality cardiac care.

Requirements:
MD/DO from an accredited medical school. Board Certification/Board Eligible.
