Diagnostician and Therapist

The Diagnostician/Therapist is a critical member of our clinical team at FCC Behavioral Health, responsible for providing comprehensive assessments and developing individualized recovery care plans for our clients.

• Assessment and Diagnosis: Conduct thorough assessments of clients' problem areas, recommend appropriate levels of care, and develop interpretative summaries to inform recovery care plans.
• Eligibility Determination: Complete eligibility determinations for each client within 24 hours of admission, ensuring timely and accurate assessments.
• Diagnostic Interviews: Conduct face-to-face diagnostic interviews with clients, completing all required admission screenings and demonstrating a working knowledge of the DSM and diagnostic criteria sets.
• Recovery Care Planning: Develop recovery care plans with SMART goals, objectives, and interventions, ensuring clients receive personalized and effective treatment.
• Reporting and Documentation: Complete written reports and documentation in a timely manner, ensuring accurate and comprehensive records.
• Collaboration and Teamwork: Work closely with the clinical team to assign clients to appropriate treatment services, maintain professional competencies, and participate in clinical staffing and meetings.
• Compliance and Quality: Adhere to evidence-based practice models, agency certification standards, and strategic plan requirements, ensuring high-quality clinical care and program operations.

• Provisional or fully licensed clinical social worker in the State of Missouri.
• At least one year of experience in treating persons with substance use disorders.
