About the Role

We are seeking a Senior Mechanical Engineer to lead a variety of Platform product development initiatives for our next generation Semiconductor Testers.

In this role, you will work with Systems Engineering, Marketing, and other Engineering groups to understand key requirements and use cases.

You will need to create innovative and sound technical solutions to complex engineering problems, drawing on your experience and in-depth professional knowledge.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Leading and collaborating with development teams to provide technical knowledge and guidance
  • Producing concepts from high-level requirements or problem statements
  • Verifying design through functional testing of prototypes
  • Summarizing results and defending design in design reviews
  • Effectively collaborating with global supply base to arrive at economically viable solutions

Long-term expectations for this position include influencing and participating in the development of long-term technical capability roadmaps, contributing to initiatives throughout the company as a subject matter expert, and mentoring Jr. Engineers.

Qualified individuals will have a BS in Mechanical Engineering, 10 years of experience, and expertise in Solidworks, Solidworks PDM, and Solidworks FEA.
