Job Description

As an Assistant Restaurant Manager at Dunkin', you will play a key role in supporting the Restaurant Manager and team to deliver exceptional guest experiences and drive sales growth. Your primary responsibilities will include:

Key Responsibilities:
  • Supporting the Restaurant Manager in the overall operation of the restaurant, including floor operations and Brand Training programs.
  • Providing strong, positive leadership to the team to deliver great guest experiences and operational excellence.
  • Overseeing Brand Training Programs, scheduling, training, validating, and certifying team members and shift leads.
  • Ensuring Brand standards, recipes, and systems are executed.
  • Creating and maintaining a guest-focused culture in the restaurant.
  • Reviewing guest feedback results and implementing action plans to drive improvement.
  • Communicating restaurant priorities, goals, and results to team members.
  • Executing new product rollouts, including training, marketing, and sampling.
  • Maintaining a safe, secure, and healthy environment by following and enforcing safety, food safety, and sanitation requirements.
  • Controlling costs to maximize profitability.
  • Completing inventory on a periodic basis as determined by the Franchisee.
  • Supporting the Restaurant Manager in completing the weekly labor schedule, ensuring all shifts are staffed to meet guest demand and service standards.
  • Supporting the Restaurant Manager in assigning staff and deployment.
  • Supporting the Restaurant Manager in completing supplier and other vendor orders.
  • Ensuring the restaurant budget is met as determined by the Franchisee.
  • Managing cash over/short in the restaurant and ensuring team members follow the Franchisee's cash management policies.
  • Engaging with the Dunkin' Brands Field Operations team as appropriate.
Requirements:
  • Previous managerial experience preferred but not required.
  • Previous fast food/quick service restaurant experience required.
  • Top-notch customer service skills.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Excellent leadership skills.
  • Ability to work well under pressure and multitask.
  • Access to a vehicle and a valid Driver's License required.
  • Ability to lift 50 lbs.
  • Lincoln Employees must have a Food Handler's permit or be willing to obtain one.
