Dishwasher - Sushi Specialist

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Dishwasher to join our team at Trapper's Sushi Hawks Prairie. As a Dishwasher, you will play a critical role in maintaining the cleanliness and organization of our kitchen and dining areas.

• Collect and sort used dishes, glasses, and utensils from dining and kitchen areas
• Load and unload dishwashing machines, ensuring efficient operation and minimizing downtime
• Wash specific items by hand, such as rice pots, large cookware, and delicate glassware
• Store clean dishes, glasses, and equipment in designated areas, maintaining a clean and organized workspace
• Ensure adequate stock of clean dishes, glasses, and utensils, particularly during peak hours
• Maintain cleaning supplies stock, including detergents
• Monitor dishwashing machines' operation and report any technical or performance issues to management
• Remove garbage regularly and dispose of it according to store procedures
• Clean and sanitize the kitchen area, bathrooms, and restaurant lobby area as assigned
• Demonstrate and uphold all TRAPCHK core values

• Previous work experience as a Dishwasher or in a restaurant capacity
• Ability to follow instructions and assist with various tasks as needed
• Effective time management skills
• Attention to detail and adherence to sanitation rules
• High school diploma preferred
• Washington State Food Worker Card required prior to first day of work

The employee must regularly lift items up to 10 pounds, frequently up to 20 pounds, and occasionally up to 50 pounds. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand throughout their shift, walk, reach with hands and arms in front of the body, lift, twist, and crouch occasionally.
