Physiatrist Medical Examiner for Veterans

**Role Overview:**
MRG Exams, a leading independent medical examination provider, is seeking an experienced Physiatrist to perform medical assessments on United States Veterans as part of the VA's disability benefits process.
The successful candidate will be responsible for reviewing medical health records through a secure Web Portal and conducting comprehensive assessments on each veteran. This role requires the ability to analyze data from medical records and exam findings to complete Disability Benefit Questionnaires (DBQs) and form medical opinions.
The ideal candidate will possess excellent analytical and time management skills, with the ability to stay on task and meet requirements. Typing skills are essential, and proficiency in electronic documentation is required.
This position involves providing assessments only and does not involve traditional patient care or treatment. The Physiatrist will review and assess 3 veterans per day on average, making this a PRN opportunity.
**Requirements and Qualifications:**
To be considered for this role, candidates must hold a current license as a Physiatrist and be Board Certified in either Neurological Surgery, PM&R, or Psychiatry and Neurology. Additionally, they must meet the credentialing requirements set forth by the VA.
**Estimated Salary:** $150,000 - $200,000 per year, depending on location and experience.
