Manufacturing Operations Specialist

Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Manufacturing Operations Specialist to join our team at SBM Management Services, LP. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring that our manufacturing areas are clean, organized, and compliant with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP).
About the Role:
This is a full-time position working Sunday - Wednesday 4:00PM - 2:30AM or Wednesday - Saturday 4:00PM - 2:30AM. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, ability to work independently, and strong attention to detail.
Key Responsibilities:
- Comply with safety rules, policies, and procedures to ensure a safe working environment
- Stop at risk behavior of others and self to maintain a healthy and productive work environment
- Perform work assignments in a team environment, collaborating with other employees to achieve common goals
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to GMP standards
- Take direction and respond to supervision effectively, demonstrating adaptability and flexibility
- Communicate professionally with lead, supervisor, co-workers, managers, and customers through verbal and written interactions
- Support shift lead in completing punch-list items and work orders, prioritizing tasks accordingly
- Use proper personal protective equipment (PPE) as required by job duties and company policies
- Present a professional appearance and conduct, reflecting positively on the company's image
- Understand customer service principles and strive to deliver exceptional customer experiences
- Familiarize yourself with reporting systems and environmental aspects of the job
- Perform repetitive tasks in a GMP-controlled environment, following established procedures
- Conduct sanitization duties to maintain a clean and organized workspace
- Consistently follow all customer and SBM SOPs and procedures
- Respond to customer requests professionally, providing timely and effective solutions
- Fully train in area job functions, including walls, floors, windows, wipe-downs, maintenance issue reporting, and shut-down cleaning
- Accurately complete daily FN logs and provide detailed information as needed
- Must be trained and certified in correct gowning procedures for assigned area
- Complete all basic training modules and annual qualification trainings per customer Standard Operating Procedures
- Obtain all necessary safety certifications, including chemical safety
- Be available to act as an area fill-in during general staff shortages
- Support shift lead in completing work orders and internally identified items for assigned area
Requirements:
- Education and/or Experience:
- High school diploma / GED preferred
- 6mo to 1 year of experience preferred
- Certificates, Licenses, Registrations:
- CPR/AED/First Aid certification a plus
- May require a valid driver's license
- Completed all safety and task training certification
- May require forklift certification
- Ability to read and interpret instructions, procedures, manuals, and other documents
- Strong verbal and written communication skills in English
- Familiarity with cleaning methods and equipment, willing to share knowledge with the team
- Knowledge of cleaning compounds and chemicals, and their safe use
Estimated Salary Range: $18-$19 per hour
