Clinical Quality and Safety Manager

At Necnic Group Healthcare Recruitment, we are seeking a highly skilled Clinical Quality and Safety Manager to oversee our clinical quality department. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for leading a team of 9 direct reports and subdepartments, including Stroke, Sepsis, and Bariatrics Certification programs. Your primary focus will be on enhancing compliance and patient safety in collaboration with medical center leadership and front-line staff. Key responsibilities include managing peer review and department review processes, overseeing multiple units, and ensuring alignment with business strategies. Additionally, you will be responsible for Leapfrog, Joint Commission, Core Measures, and CMS surveys/scores. Key Responsibilities:

• Lead a team of 9 direct reports and subdepartments, including Stroke, Sepsis, and Bariatrics Certification programs.

• Oversee multiple units and ensure alignment with business strategies.

Requirements:

• 2+ years managing operational or project budgets.

• 5+ years in a leadership role with direct reports.

• 2+ years with databases, spreadsheets, or continuous quality improvement tools.

• 7+ years in a clinical setting or healthcare administration.

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Health Care Administration, Nursing, Public Health, or related field with 8+ years in healthcare quality assurance/improvement or 11+ years of related experience.

• Certifications: Professional Healthcare Quality Certificate, Professional in Patient Safety Certificate, or Professional in Healthcare Risk Management Certificate within 24 months of hire.

Preferred Skills:

• CPHQ, HRO Experience, Team Stepps, formal lean training.
