About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled cabling professional to join our team in Memphis, Tennessee. As a key member of our Data Center Design and Build team, you will be responsible for planning and executing cabling design and installation tasks for large data center projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Work on-site with our senior project managers to oversee structured and patch cabling (copper and fiber) design and installation within data center and co-location facilities.
  • Coordinate and supervise vendors during construction and buildout of the data center, ensuring client specifications and quality control are met.
  • Troubleshoot technical issues that arise during data center installations and fit-outs.
  • Prepare documentation, perform site surveys, schedule vendor installations, and manage data and document management for building and managing the LVC and power schedules.
Requirements
  • A minimum of three years' experience in data center cabling specific experience performing hands-on buildout and project coordination for cabling design and installation tasks.
  • Knowledge of low-voltage cabling infrastructure standards, including Category 6 cabling, Category 6A cabling, OM3 fiber, OM4 fiber, and single-mode fiber.
  • Experience with designing basic cable layouts, distribution frames, and patching facilities.

Salary and Benefits

The salary for this position is $40-$60 per hour, based on experience. The expected duration of this project is until February 28, 2025, with a possible extension. Conversion to a full-time, salaried position is possible.
